Nithya Menen began her acting career as a child artist at just 8 years old, starring in the French-Indian film "Hanuman" (1998), alongside actress Tabu.
Nithya is a polyglot who speaks six languages, including Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and English, showcasing her versatile talent.
Nithya originally aspired to be a pilot but shifted her focus to filmmaking and acting, after finding the idea of being a pilot less appealing.
Her breakthrough role came with the Telugu film "Ala Modalaindi" (2011), earning her critical acclaim and the prestigious Nandi Award for Best Actress.
Nithya Menen has earned numerous accolades, including a National Film Award, four Filmfare Awards South, and two Nandi Awards for her diverse performances.
In 2022, she won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her outstanding performance in the Tamil film "Thiruchitrambalam."
Nithya transitioned to digital platforms with notable roles in the web series "Breathe: Into the Shadows" and "Modern Love Hyderabad."
